Plaza da Quintana - Santiago de Compostela
Please allow me to introduce Jazzman. Jazzman is actually a street musician in Santiago. His face is always covered with a mask, wears a white hat, and black clothes as you can see. I also read it somewhere that he is not really afraid of showing his real identity, and that he also plays in a local band.
You will surely meet him when you get to Santiago, and he is a great guy to hang out with. He is not really a musician, but rather an interpreter. He has all the jazz chords in the world in his fingers, and he is willing to play your favourite tune. So in 2006 and 2009 he helped me sing Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton - one of my favourite songs.
So when you get to Compostela, make sure to sit down around him for a while. Sit back, listen to him play, and contemplate - thank God you’re where you must be. I’m sure you will never forget Jazzman of Compostela.
